Position: Chef de Partie
The Chef de Partie will work closely with the Head Chef / Sous Chef.
Job Scope (NOTE : This is a Non-Halal kitchen)

Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
-
Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
-
Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
-
Follow the guidance of the Executive or Sous Chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
-
Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
-
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
-
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Requirements

Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
-
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
-
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-
Hardworking & willing to learn
-
Passion in the industry
-
Able to speak simple English for communication within the team and dockets reading

Willing to work 5.5 days in a week (44 hours per week) + OTs
-
Rotational weekdays & weekend days off

The Commis Cook will work closely with the Head Chef / Sous Chef.

Preparing & cooking ingredients to maintain quality cuisine (Western Food)

Monitoring stock, stock rotation, for smooth kitchen operations

Learning skills & recipes from team members & applying them

Keeping all working areas clean & tidy to ensure good safety & sanitation
-
Follow kitchen policies, procedures & maintain high service standards
Requirements
